Celebrating St Vincent’s Nurses with the Delta Goodrem Foundation

Having been successfully treated for Hodgkin's Lymphoma disease at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney when she was just 18, The Delta Goodrem Foundation identified that supporting St Vincent's nurses is a natural way to extend her long-standing appreciation of their work. 

Delta Goodrem shines a national spotlight on some St Vincent’s nurses in her 2025 annual television special Christmas with Delta which can be viewed on catchup on 9 Now. 

Broadcast nationally on Channel 9, the show brings together music, celebration and special guest performances, while sharing meaningful stories that reflect care, community and generosity. As part of the show, the Delta Goodrem Foundation and St Vincent's will share powerful stories from nurses and patients across our hospitals in support of a national partnership to raise funds for St Vincent's nurses.

You may notice one of the featured patients, Sarah Kerr, who was the focal point of our tax appeal campaign - helping us raise funds for our cardiology teams. 

Highlighting the need for nursing scholarships

The inclusion of St Vincent’s nurses in the show is timely, given our Christmas appeal is supporting nursing scholarships this year.

Scholarships provide our St Vincent’s nurses with vital opportunities to pursue specialist training, share knowledge with colleagues, and improve patient care across our hospitals.
