We recently celebrated the official opening and blessing of the East Tower at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Fitzroy – a milestone made possible by the extraordinary generosity of our donors.
The ceremony began with a Welcome to Country by Uncle Colin Hunter Junior, Wurundjeri Elder, and was followed by a blessing from The Most Reverend Archbishop Peter A. Comensoli. Reflections from hospital and community leaders highlighted the transformative impact the new Tower will have on patients, families, and staff for generations to come.
The 12-storey East Tower significantly increases hospital capacity, enabling care for an additional 20,000 patients each year - bringing together state-of-the-art facilities and specialist services, including:
