Inside St Vincent's: 25 Years of Epilepsy Care

At St Vincent’s, we care for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Neurological conditions – particularly epilepsy – can be especially confronting because they affect not only a person’s health, but also their sense of safety, identity and independence. Hear about some of the extraordinary progress that has been made over the last 25 years thanks to donor support – from advances in diagnosis and surgery through to research, technology and emerging therapies that are reshaping what is possible for patients.

Aligned with the 2026 Tax Appeal supporting Neurology at St Vincent’s, the event will highlight the profound impact epilepsy can have on a person’s life and showcase how St Vincent’s clinicians, researchers and donors are helping transform outcomes for patients living with complex neurological conditions.

Through patient storytelling, clinician insight and meaningful donor engagement, the event reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to relationship-led philanthropy that advances compassionate care, innovation and medical excellence.

Hosted by Matt Preston with St Vincent's experts including Dr Antony Tobin (Chief Medical Officer), Prof Mark Cook AO (Director of Neurology), Dr Amy Halliday (Neurologist) and Mr Kristian Bulluss (Neurosurgeon).
