St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne is proud to provide a comprehensive breast health service, focused on holistic patient care. We have Victoria’s only all-female breast surgery team, headed by leading breast surgeon Caroline Baker. Patients also receive exceptional aftercare and access to world-first research.

Our aim is to offer the best end-to-end breast health service for the thousands of women we care for each year. To do this, we are raising urgently needed funds to purchase the following state of the art equipment:

  • Sentimag Machine, a magnetic detector that is revolutionising breast cancer surgery
  • A portable ultrasound machine to enable in-clinic breast imaging
  • The Faxitron, an in-theatre breast tissue imaging machine

The total value of this equipment is $350,000.
