The annual St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne 2022 Staff Awards were held ‘virtually’ on 13 September. These awards are a celebration of the extraordinary work of St Vincent’s people, who are driven to deliver outstanding care to our patients, residents and the community every single day. They recognise quality, excellence, innovation and safety across our health and aged care services.

The theme of this year’s St Vincent’s Staff Awards is ‘Ready, Reset, Go. St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne CEO, Nicole Tweddle said “For St Vincent’s this a reset of our focus and direction towards redefining our acute hospitals and aged care models. As well as expanding our services in the home and within the community, growing our ambulatory care and elevating our digital capability.”

“Looking through the list of St Vincent’s staff award recipients, it’s quite clear that they are all extraordinary people who never hesitate to go above and beyond in all they do.”

Next Steps
The St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne staff award winners automatically become nominees for Victorian Hospital Division Awards. Winners of the Victorian Hospital Division will then progress as finalists for the 2022 SVHA Awards Winners of these awards will go on to represent Melbourne at The St Vincent’s Health Australia Awards on 26 October.
