Living with epilepsy had taken away Danni's independence, her confidence and her quality of life.

After years of misdiagnosis and unanswered questions, Danni came to St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, where Professor Mark Cook AO and the Neurology team identified the lesions in her brain causing her seizures.

Her surgery was complex. The chance of becoming seizure-free was only 2%. But for Danni, the cost of not going ahead was even higher.

Today, almost six years later, Danni is still seizure-free. She is travelling Australia with her husband, driving off-road again, and living with the freedom she once feared she had lost forever.
