Natalie Booth has been seizure-free for two years thanks to innovative treatment being developed by St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne through ACMD.
The world-first epilepsy project conducted in conjunction with Cerebral Therapeutics and led by Professor Mark Cook sees anti-seizure medication delivered directly to the brain via a long-term abdominal pump implant to treat drug-resistant focal seizures.
