Living well with arthritis and what to do when you can’t

Presentation Summary : Arthritis can be a painful and sometimes debilitating condition. It affects an estimated 3.9 million (15%) Australians. That's 1 in 6 people. And it doesn’t just affect older people, in fact, Arthritis Australia reports that around 2 million people with arthritis are of working age (15-64 years).

Orthopaedic Surgeon at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, and former physio, Nathan White will explore non-invasive methods for managing arthritis and what to do if that doesn’t work.

Nathan will also dispel some common myths as he provides an insight into the principals of surgery, with a focus on knee surgery.
