Channel 9 and Tim Campbell visit Prague House

by STV Foundation 02 Jul 2018

St Vincent’s Hospital Prague House is home to 45 residents living with a mental health diagnosis and or an acquired brain injury. Many residents have a history of homelessness or have been at high risk of becoming homeless.

Prague House offers long term accommodation and quality individualised care for its residents, so they can live life to their fullest potential. Prior to coming to Prague House many residents would have spent a lot of time coming in and out of hospital, this offers a better solution for homelessness, taking pressure away from our emergency services.

It was band practice when Channel 9 visited, alongside Tim Campbell who joined the rehearsals ahead of his hosting duties for the upcoming St Vincent’s Gala Ball.

Tim’s excited for the upcoming Gala Ball on 11 August. He said: “It will be a great celebration, I’ll have the band there. Of course we want to raise a lot of money so St Vincent’s can continue for another 125 years of caring for the Victorian community.”
